Raquel Vannucci

Brazilian artist based in Gothenburg, Sweden,  Raquel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s degree in Modern and Contemporary Art History, both from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her passion for the history and making of art informs her playful and contemporary approach to image-making.

Through Collage, Raquel experiments with materials and media while processing experiences from her life. Bright, bold colors and humor are central to her work, where she finds beauty and fun in the mundane.

Her work has been exhibited in the United States and Brazil, including at Art Basel Miami, Sullivan Galleries in Chicago, LZ Gallery, and Casa Cor in Rio de Janeiro. She has received recognition for her work, including a “Best Photograph” award in Orlando, Florida, and has been featured in Contemporary Collage Magazine and Photo Trouvée Magazine.
